- My name is Mike, and I'm a 22 year old student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am spending my final semester in the schools completing a degree in Music Education and training for a cross country bike ride called the Journey of Hope, which raises funds and awareness on behalf of people with disabilities. Through this blog, I'll keep my public aware of of my efforts in training and fundraising for the event. Push America (the organization which facilitates the trek) is the national philanthropy of my fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi. I will be the 5th member of our chapter (Theta Mu) to participate in the event and am pumped to spend the summer with 90 other Pi Kapps from around the country promoting disability awareness.
